E27 Bruce Chats with Eliana Maxim and Scott Lumsden

In this episode, I talk with Eliana Maxim and Scott Lumsden, Co-Executive Presbyters of Seattle Presbytery. In Presbyterian-Speak, they help to support churches and pastors in the Seattle area. I spoke with them because they were one of the early areas to respond to COVID-19 and offer guidance to local congregations.
In segment one, they give some background to the situation in Seattle and how they came to the place to ask churches to cancel their services. Segment two, we talk about pastors and church leaders, the struggles they face, and the gifts they already possess. The final sement, as always, is about what they are watching, listening to, and reading. And once again, my guests prove to be much better human beings than I am :-)
During this time, leadership like Eliana and Scott, is crucial. Our denomination, the churches that they support, and the Seattle area are fortunate to have them serving.
